Hi everyone! So I'm planning a trip to Korea soon and I'm seriously considering getting some work done while I'm there. The problem is... I can barely read Korean, haha. I've been trying to look at reviews online but honestly it's hard to know what's legit and what's just marketing fluff, especially when I'm relying on Google Translate and it's not always super clear.
For those of you who've gone through this as foreigners — how do you actually vet places? Like, are there certain red flags I should be watching for in reviews, even if I can't read them perfectly? I'm wondering if certain things stand out as sketchy no matter the language, you know?
Also, has anyone used translation apps to read reviews and then asked Korean friends to double-check the vibe? I'm just trying to feel confident that I'm not walking into somewhere that's gonna be a total disappointment or, worse, unsafe. Any advice would be super helpful!
