Hey everyone! So I just had a tiny aesthetic procedure done here in Korea and I'm trying to figure out the best way to manage the swelling and bruising while I'm healing. I know everyone's skin is different, but I'd love to hear what actually worked for you guys.
I've been doing ice on and off, keeping my head elevated when I sleep, and trying to stay hydrated — but honestly I'm not sure if I'm doing enough or if there are other things I should be doing. Has anyone here had experience with this kind of aftercare? Like, did you find certain routines made a real difference in how quickly things settled down? I'm curious what people's actual experience was like.
Also, I'm a bit worried about going out in public while things look a bit puffy, so any general tips on managing that would be great too. Not looking for medical advice — just real talk from people who've been through it! Thanks in advance 💕

I was also considering trying this, so after reading your post, I'm so hyped! Your method sounds great—ice packs, elevating your head while sleeping, and drinking plenty of water are basic tips that many people recommend, so you're on the right track. Hope the swelling goes down soon! 💕
I've also heard a lot of people recommend elevating your head while sleeping! Are you using a pillow to elevate your head all night, or just for the first few days? I'm also recovering and want to try it, but I'm not sure how long I need to persist to see results 😊
I'm in the same boat right now and honestly the ice packs + sleeping elevated thing has been helping me the most! I was also nervous about going out, but a good concealer and some sunglasses honestly do wonders if you need to step outside—no one notices as much as you think they will haha. Would love to hear what ends up working best for you!
Same here! I went through the same thing. After using it for a while, the pain from brushing became unbearable. But what really helped was putting the wrench in the refrigerator and applying it as a compress. It might sound strange, but it significantly reduced the swelling. Sleeping with your head elevated also works. Another good tip is to wear sunglasses or a hat when going outside. At least it'll be less noticeable 😊
