Thinking about eye surgery in Seoul, is it worth it from abroad?

Hi everyone! I'm Putri from Indonesia, and lately, I've been seriously considering double eyelid surgery. Honestly, I've been curious for a long time, but only now am I daring enough to consider actually coming to Seoul. I've seen many people go to Korea specifically for this procedure, and the results look great. But I'm still unsure if the cost of travel, hotel, time off, and everything else is worth it.

Has anyone here had experience traveling from abroad for aesthetic procedures in Seoul? What was the initial process like, how do you arrange an initial consultation? I'm also curious about the recovery time — how long do I need to stay there before I can be 'presentable' enough to go home. And most importantly, if there are any complications or follow-ups needed, what happens once I'm back in Indonesia?

I'd also like to know if it's more worthwhile to come there compared to finding a good doctor here. There must be pros and cons to each. Thanks if anyone is willing to share their experiences or advice! 🙏
