Hi everyone, I'm Thanh, and I just had a minor facial contouring procedure done here. Now my cheeks are quite swollen and bruised, and I'm a little worried about how to properly care for them. Do any of you have experience with this situation? Could you share some tips on how to recover quickly?
I've heard that I need to avoid sunlight, not touch the incision, and drink plenty of water... but I'm still not sure whether I should use cold or warm compresses, how long I should apply them, or how long it will take for the swelling to go away. I feel a bit discouraged having to cover it up all day, haha. Does anyone have any tips to help speed up the healing process?
I also want to know what to eat and what to avoid to reduce swelling. Some people say I shouldn't drink alcohol or coffee, others say I need to avoid spicy food... I'm a bit confused. I hope to receive practical advice from you all, especially those who have had this procedure done in Korea. Thank you!

I've been there! At first, just like you, I was panicking about the swelling and redness. But what really helped me feel better was sleeping with my head elevated and trying not to worry, because the swelling will gradually disappear on its own. As for food and drinks, I'm not sure if that's true, but some friends say it's better to avoid hot things. Anyway, if you're still worried, it's best to contact someone for advice on post-treatment care!
Hi sister! I had a similar procedure done a while ago and I'm still in the swelling phase. How long have you had the swelling? I heard the first week or two is the most swollen, and then it gradually goes down, but everyone seems to be different. Have you consulted a doctor about the specific recovery time?
