Hi, my name is Aon and I'm from Thailand. I'm thinking about getting aesthetic treatments done in South Korea because I've heard the beauty trends there are different from here. But I'm worried about the language barrier. I can speak English, but I'm not very fluent. Has anyone else from Thailand who's gone for consultations there been able to find someone who speaks Thai?
Because I feel like a detailed consultation about what you want to do with your face really needs to be explained clearly. I don't want to speak English and end up misunderstanding each other 😅 Does anyone know if most beauty clinics in Seoul have staff who can speak Thai? Or is there a way I should arrange things in advance? Thank you!

On, I totally understand how you feel! I'm from Japan too, so I have the same language anxiety 😅 You're right that nuance is really important when it comes to consultations. It seems like most clinics can accommodate English or Japanese, but I think the most reliable way would be to email them directly beforehand and ask "Is Thai available?" Some clinics apparently arrange interpreter services, so you could ask about that when you make your appointment too!
