Hi everyone, I'm Peihan from Taiwan. I've been thinking about going to Seoul for some aesthetic medical consultations recently, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but Chinese is definitely my most fluent language. I wanted to ask if anyone has had a similar experience. Is English communication sufficient at local clinics? Or would it be better to find a doctor who speaks Chinese for peace of mind?
I've heard that some places in Seoul are more accustomed to international clients, but I'm also afraid of misunderstandings when discussing details. Especially when talking about treatment content or expected results, I'm concerned that expressing myself in English might not be precise enough. Has anyone used translation apps or brought a translator? Is it too much trouble?
It would be great if any Taiwanese sisters or other Chinese speakers with experience could share! Thanks everyone~
