Hey everyone! So I'm seriously considering getting some work done while I'm in Korea, but I'm running into this problem where I can barely read Korean. I've been trying to look at reviews on local sites and honestly I feel kind of lost. Google Translate helps but I'm worried I'm missing important details or misunderstanding what people are actually saying.
For those of you who've gone through this as a foreigner — how do you figure out if a place is legit? Are there specific red flags I should be looking out for? Like, what made you trust (or NOT trust) a clinic based on reviews you found? I'm also curious if anyone has had a bad experience and what that looked like before you booked.
Also, do you guys rely more on English-language review sites, or have you found ways to navigate the Korean ones better? I want to feel confident about wherever I go, but I know I'm at a disadvantage not speaking the language fluently. Any tips would be really helpful!

I totally understand! I've had the same problem. My question is, when you mentioned using Google Translate, did you try to translate everything, or did you just open the reviews that clearly showed the clinic's name and look at the image results rather than the text? I'd love to know what method works for you.
I completely understand your concerns! I'm also a foreigner and considering the same thing; the language barrier is really frustrating. What I'm doing now is, besides reading reviews, I also try to find some testimonials written in English, and then email the clinic directly in English to ask for details—this way I can at least check their response time and attitude. If they're willing to patiently answer your questions, it feels more trustworthy. Good luck!
