Hello everyone! I just finished a minor procedure in Seoul and am now in the recovery phase. My face is quite swollen and there are some bruises appearing. I've received basic explanations from the clinic, but I'd love to hear from those of you who might have gone through something similar—any tips or tricks that were genuinely helpful?
So far, I've been trying cold compresses and sleeping with a higher pillow, but I'm curious if there's anything more effective. How long does the swelling and bruising usually take to disappear? And are there any activities I should avoid during recovery? I'm a bit worried as I still have a few days before my flight home.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share their stories or advice from personal experience! 🙏

Have you tried any creams or serums to reduce swelling? I'm in this stage too and don't know what products are safe for skin during recovery.
I've been there too! Try wrapping a cold compress and sleeping with your head elevated. It'll help the swelling go down much faster. Also, try to avoid salty foods and get enough sleep. The rest is up to time! 😊
How long does the swelling and bruising take to subside? I just went through the same thing. I'm curious how many days they say it takes to disappear completely 😅
I totally get the worry about swelling before flying home! From my last trip, I found that keeping my head elevated even while sitting during the day (not just sleeping) actually helped way more than I expected—like, propped up on a travel pillow while scrolling. Also staying super hydrated seemed to make a difference for me, though everyone's different. Hope it calms down soon for you!
