My name is Hoa, and I'm planning to fly to Seoul for a consultation about some minor cosmetic procedures. However, I'm a little worried about communication because my English isn't very good 😅
I'd like to ask if anyone who's had a consultation there felt their English was sufficient, or if I should consider getting someone to translate? Does anyone know of clinics in Seoul that offer language support services for international clients? I'm also considering whether I should hire a private translator or if a translation app will suffice.
I'm also concerned that poor communication might affect the consultation and understanding of my treatment plan. Any experiences or advice you can share, please be helpful! Thank you!

I was just as worried as you were at first! 😅 But actually, many places in Seoul have staff who speak English or offer language support services for foreign visitors, so don't worry too much. I recommend contacting them beforehand to ask if they offer English support, or using Google Translate when communicating; the staff there are usually very patient.
Hi Hoai! I'm also thinking the same thing, so I totally understand your concern 😅 From what I've heard from my friends, many places in Seoul are ready to handle international clients and have staff who can speak English, so don't worry too much! But it's best to prepare some vocabulary or notes about what you want to ask, and maybe bring a translator app as a backup — that's enough in my opinion.
Hey, I totally get the idea! This can be a real challenge. In my experience, many places that do well with foreign customers have translators or at least English-speaking staff, and if you want to communicate well when you book in advance, there may be less need for a separate staff if you travel in advance.
Hey Hoai! I was a little worried about English when I went to Seoul last time, but I found that many places actually have English consultation services. You can email or inquire beforehand, and they usually arrange for someone who speaks English to help you. I brought a translation app with me, and it worked quite well with basic English communication, so don't worry too much! 😊
