Hi! My name is Nim, and I'm from Thailand. I'm thinking of trying something related to beauty/skincare, but I'm facing a problem: I'm not good at reading Korean. So, finding clinics and reading reviews is difficult 😭. Could anyone help me with tips on reading and evaluating reviews? I'm open to using Google Translate or other apps, but I'm worried about missing translation elements.
Alternatively, I'd like to know some red flags to watch out for when reading reviews. Has anyone experienced this before? For example, reviews that show unrealistic or exaggerated results, or are strangely written.
I'm also wondering if it's safe to find reliable reviews from international sources, as experiences can differ between Thai and foreigners. Could anyone with experience please give me some advice? 🙏

I'm a foreigner too, and I completely understand your concerns! Have you considered finding local Chinese forums or Weibo discussion groups? Sometimes, the experiences shared by Asian users are more relevant and much better than simply relying on translation tools 😊
I understand! I also had a hard time at first because I couldn't read Korean 😭 When using translation apps, it's a good idea to check not only the multiple photos and before-and-after pictures, but also the detailed descriptions. Also, I think it's important to distinguish between posts that are clearly exaggerated and posts that seem more realistic, even if they include some complaints. I think skin types are different in Thailand and Japan, so it's probably best to refer to the opinions of Thai people and ask them if it suits your skin 💭
Her Royal Highness! I'm Thai too. 😊 When I first researched skincare, I hesitated because there were so many Korean books. But using Google Translate with keywords helps. Knowing what you're looking to do is helpful. Do you already have an idea of where you want to find information? 🤔
