Hi, I'm Bích, and I've just decided I want to try aesthetic treatments in Korea next time. But the thing is, I can't read Korean, I can only use Google Translate and I'm not even confident about that. I see reviews on websites or Instagram that seem to be all praise, but I don't know if those are real reviews or photoshopped. I'm really scared of getting scammed 😅
For those of you with experience, could you help me with this: what are the reliable review sites in Korea usually? Should I look for reviews in English, or do I need to read Korean to trust them? And I'd like to know what red flags I should watch out for when evaluating a clinic — for example, what kind of phrases or characteristics in reviews should we be careful about?
Thanks so much in advance! I'm new to this community but I can see everyone is really enthusiastic 💕

I've been thinking about the same thing, Bích! It's totally natural to worry about getting scammed because of the language barrier. But from what my friends have experienced, it's better to look for places that have reviews on international platforms or ask directly in our local community, because there are people who can help translate and share their honest experiences 😊
I totally get how you feel! I was also scared at first because I couldn't read Korean, but eventually I discovered there are quite a few reputable international review sites, and the foreign community here is also willing to help with translations or share their experiences. I think the best approach is to ask people who've gone before you directly, along with looking at their portfolios and emailing the clinic in English so they can explain everything in detail 💕
