I recently had a minor skin procedure done, and now I have some swelling and bruising. I'm not too worried because that's normal, but I'd like to know what you ladies usually do to reduce swelling and speed up recovery? Can anyone share their daily skincare routine?
I've heard about elevating my head while sleeping, using cold water, and avoiding strenuous activity for the first few days, but I'd like to hear from someone with experience. Also, I'm not sure what products I should use or what to avoid. What do you usually eat or drink to aid the recovery process?
Thanks in advance! I'm really looking forward to hearing from you all in this community.

I read that you're avoiding strenuous exercise. How long have you been able to do that? I'm worried about how many days I'll need to take a break from yoga and running. 😅
I understand how you feel! I've had a similar experience, and it's really nerve-wracking, isn't it? In my case, I think the swelling went down faster than I expected when I slept with my head elevated and avoided cold things. But I think it varies from person to person, so I'd love to hear about other people's experiences too 😊
Hey, I'm actually thinking about getting something similar done soon, so I'm really glad you posted this! Those tips about keeping your head elevated and avoiding intense workouts sound super helpful—I'll definitely remember that for when I do it. Would love to hear what other people's recovery experiences were like too!
After reading the post, I feel the same way. When I did it, my skin swelled up and I wasn't sure if that was normal 😅 I've heard that sleeping with your head elevated and avoiding strenuous activities really helps. I'd also like to know what products others used and how they took care of themselves afterward.
