Hi everyone! My name is Thu, and I'm planning to have some cosmetic treatments in South Korea next semester, but I'm quite worried about choosing a clinic. Since I don't speak Korean well, I'd like to ask how international people usually find reliable clinics?
I have a few specific questions: What do you usually check before deciding? Should I prioritize places with readily available English or Vietnamese guidance? Is their translation service reliable, or does it depend on the clinic? I'm quite worried about misunderstandings about what I want to do, especially during the initial consultation.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Could you share how you found a clinic? I'm not sure where to start, so I'd really appreciate any help! 🙏

Ms. Tuan, I'm also Vietnamese and I understand your concerns! I think the hardest thing is communicating and clearly understanding what the doctor wants to do, but I advise you to find places with staff or support services that speak clear Vietnamese or English, and ask very detailed questions during your first consultation before making a decision. 💙
Hi Tui! I'm also considering getting treatment in Korea, and I totally understand your concerns 😅 My current approach is to ask friends for recommendations first, and then pay special attention to comments from other foreigners, because they usually mention communication and translation services, which makes me feel more at ease. I hope everyone can share their experiences!
Hey, I'm also considering this, so I completely understand your concerns! I think the safest way is to find places that offer genuine consultation services in Vietnamese or English, and then send pictures/detailed descriptions of what you want before going to avoid misunderstandings.
I totally understand your concerns! I also came to Korea for the procedure because of my limited language skills, and I found that online translation software and asking multiple questions during consultations were really helpful, although there were still occasional minor misunderstandings. I suggest first looking at other Chinese users' experiences online, and then directly emailing the places you're interested in to clarify their translation service arrangements. This will give you more peace of mind!
