Hello everyone, I'm Tuyến from Vietnam. I just had a minor procedure here and am now in the recovery phase. I have some swelling and bruising, which is normal, but I've never experienced this before, so I'm a little worried 😅 Does anyone have any experience? What should I do to reduce swelling and take better care of myself in the coming days?
I've heard that keeping warm, staying hydrated, and avoiding strenuous activity are basic steps, but I'd like to hear more from those who have gone through this. What did you use to reduce swelling? How long did your recovery take? Do I need to protect my skin from the sun, or is normal skincare sufficient?
I would be truly grateful if someone could share their personal experiences. I'm a tourist, so I'm not familiar with this process, and tips from this community would be very helpful 🙏

Hi Tuyen, I'm also a foreigner and just went through something similar, so I totally understand how worried you must be! 😅 I think the basics of drinking plenty of water, avoiding strenuous activities, and staying warm, as you mentioned, are spot on. As for applying creams or using other products, I think it's best to ask your post-treatment instructor to be sure. Hope the swelling subsides soon and is minimized!
Reading your story, I truly understand. 😊 I'm also a foreigner, and at first, I was shocked by the swelling and bruising. But after trying to take care of myself as you suggested (rest, drinking lots of water, avoiding strenuous activity), it actually helped quite quickly. I think you'll feel better in a few days. You might consider finding a good regular therapist. And remember, sunscreen is always important!
Oh my god, I'm also thinking of doing the same thing and I'm a little scared of swelling and bruising 😅 Thank you for sharing your experience, it's very reassuring! I hope you recover quickly and let me know how things go in the coming days.
I've been through something similar before! My experience is that cold compresses really work. Applying them a few times a day for the first few days can significantly reduce swelling. Also, sleep is very important – try sleeping with your head elevated to help with swelling. Wishing you a smooth recovery!
