Hi everyone, I'm Fangfang. I'm currently considering some cosmetic medical procedures in South Korea, but as a foreigner, I'm a bit unsure where to begin. My biggest concern is finding a truly reliable clinic, as the language barrier and information gap are significant.
I'd like to ask you all, how did you choose your clinics? Are there any reliable channels for finding one? I've heard some clinics offer English translation services, but I'm unsure about the quality. Also, what questions should I ask during my first consultation? Should I research the clinic's qualifications beforehand?
I'd also like to ask about your experiences—during your consultations, did the doctor or consultant listen attentively to your needs? Or were there any points I should pay special attention to during the communication? I want to ensure I find a safe and professional place. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

We're on the same wavelength! I was completely confused at first too, but I found that reading reviews from foreigners on various forums was very helpful, and contacting them via LINE or email beforehand was also good because it showed me how serious they were about helping international travelers. 😊
Hi Pangpang! I'm also just about to try treatment in Korea and am a bit nervous about the language barrier. May I ask, during your first consultation, was there someone who helped translate or how did the communication go? I'd like to know if the interpreter actually understood the medical terms or if they were just fluffing it up.
It's great that you asked that! When you consulted with the hospital, did you find that they explained things to you well in English, or did you need someone to translate for you?
