Hi everyone, I'm Yan, and I'm considering getting a skin management consultation in Seoul. However, I'm a little worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but I might struggle with medical terminology; Chinese would be the most comfortable. Has anyone had a consultation in Seoul? What's it like at the hospitals? Are there Chinese translators or doctors who speak Chinese, or is English sufficient?
I've seen some online posts mentioning translators, but I'm not sure if that's always possible. Can anyone share their experience? I don't really need in-depth communication; I just want to confirm my skin condition and a general treatment plan, but I still hope to understand what the doctor is saying.
If all else fails, I'm considering learning some relevant Korean vocabulary beforehand, haha. Has anyone had a similar experience? How far in advance should I contact them? Thank you!
