Hi everyone, I'm Ziyi. I'm planning a skin consultation in Seoul, but I'm really worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but I'm not sure if I can fully understand medical terminology. I'd like to ask if English is sufficient for communication at a clinic in Seoul? Or is it better to bring a translator or find a doctor who speaks Chinese?
I've heard that many clinics have doctors who offer English consultations, but I'm not sure if you can find them everywhere. Especially when the doctor is explaining details or discussing possible situations, I'm worried I won't understand accurately, since it concerns my face and I can't be careless.
Any ladies have experience with this? How did you handle it? Did you specifically request Chinese communication when you made the appointment, or did you just use English? Or did you simply hire a translator to accompany you? I'd love to hear your honest advice!
