Hello everyone! I'm Vina from Jakarta, and I'm planning a consultation for aesthetic treatments in Seoul next month. But I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. I speak English fairly well, but not Korean at all. 😅
Has anyone had a consultation in Seoul? Do clinics there usually have staff who speak English? Or should I hire a translator? I'm worried about miscommunication about what I want or my skin condition. I think this is really important to explain in detail.
By the way, I'm mostly interested in just a consultation first, I haven't decided on a treatment yet. So I need very clear communication to explain my concerns. Any tips? Are there any apps or other methods that can help? Thanks in advance!

Hi Vina! I'm curious, have you tried using a translation app or asking a Korean-speaking friend to help you prepare? It's really important for aesthetic consultations to explain your skin condition and expectations in detail.
I completely understand your anxiety! I'm also planning to consult a doctor next month and am worried about the language barrier. But I've heard that most hospitals in Seoul have English-speaking staff, or some have translation apps. You could try contacting them beforehand so you can prepare in advance. 😊
