Hi everyone, I had a small injection procedure done a couple of days ago, and my face is still a bit swollen and bruised, which worries me. I'd like to ask how everyone takes care of their skin afterward? I'm currently applying cold compresses at home. I heard I should avoid hot things for the first few days, but what exactly is the correct way to do that?
I'm especially interested in everyone's recovery experience—how long does the swelling usually take to subside? Are there any ways to speed up the healing of bruises? I've seen all sorts of advice online, and I'm not sure which is true. Also, regarding diet, do I really need to avoid certain foods? Could any of you ladies share your experiences?
I feel that aftercare is really important after the procedure; I don't want any problems to develop because of improper aftercare. If you have any personal experiences or tips, please let me know! Thank you everyone~

I totally agree that post-injection care is very important. I was worried when I first got mine done too. My tip is to avoid hot weather and excessive alcohol consumption for the first few days. As for swelling and bruising, it usually goes away on its own, but you should talk to your doctor about it, as everyone's experience can be different.
I've done that too! In the beginning, I used ice packs constantly. Try avoiding hot foods and drinks for a couple of days. The swelling and pressure marks are gradually disappearing now. I'd love to hear more tips from more experienced women!
I'm also considering trying a similar procedure, so thanks for the question! I think the cold compress you're using is the right one, and I hope the swelling goes down quickly. I'm also curious about other people's experiences and what to avoid in the first week.
