Hi everyone, I'm Fei. I'm planning to have a small cosmetic consultation in Seoul, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but I barely speak Korean. I'd like to ask everyone, is it enough to communicate in English when consulting at a cosmetic clinic? Or is it better to learn some Korean beforehand, or is it necessary to bring a translator?
I've seen some people online say that the English in Seoul clinics is good, but others say there are still communication problems, especially when discussing details, such as specific expected results and post-operative care. I'm worried about misunderstandings. Has anyone had this experience?
Also, I'd like to ask if it's safer to use translation software or have a friend translate beforehand? Or is it generally fine to just go directly to the clinic and let the staff handle it?
