Hey everyone! So I just had a minor aesthetic procedure done here in Korea and I'm in that awkward swelling/bruising phase 😅 Nothing serious, but definitely more puffy and marked up than I expected. I'm trying to figure out what actually makes a difference during recovery vs. what's just internet myth.
I've been doing the basics like keeping my head elevated and using cold compresses, but I'm curious what worked for you guys? Like, did certain supplements or foods seem to help with the bruising healing faster? I've heard so many different things about what to eat or avoid that I honestly have no idea what's legit. Also wondering if anyone has tips for managing the swelling — I have to video call my family back home and I'm definitely not ready for that yet lol.
I'm not looking for medical advice obviously, just real talk about what actually made you feel better during the recovery period. Did you take time off work? How long before things looked relatively normal? Any products or routines you swear by?
Thanks in advance — loving this community so much! 💕

I understand how you feel! I had a similar experience, but instead of using cooling sheets repeatedly, I found that drinking lots of warm drinks (especially ginger tea) improved my circulation. Of course, there will be individual differences, but I thought it might be helpful 😊
Thank you for your hard work! I was in a similar situation last month, so I totally understand how you feel 😅 By the way, how many pillows did you use when you slept with your head elevated? I'm still experimenting to figure out what angle helps reduce swelling the most.
Using a high pillow today has helped me a lot, especially when sleeping! I also think it was good to be angry and pee a lot, but that's just my personal experience 😊
Wow, I'm going through something similar too! May I ask, how many days does it usually take for you to feel comfortable going out in public without feeling too embarrassed around others? Because I'm also nervous about meeting up with friends 😅
Great work! I totally get how you feel because I've had a similar experience 😅 I have a question, though: how often were you using the cooling pack? I'm wondering if I might have overdone it by keeping mine on for too long, and if that was actually counterproductive.
