Hi everyone! I had a minor beauty treatment in Seoul a few days ago, and the swelling and bruising are still quite noticeable. I wanted to ask how you all took care of yourselves after similar treatments?
I'm mainly using ice packs and elevating my skin right now, but I'm not sure if there's anything else I should be careful about. I've heard that some things might worsen the swelling, like overly hot environments or certain foods? I'm really not sure. Also, how long does it usually take for the swelling to subside significantly after a treatment? I'm seeing friends in a few days, and I'm a little worried.
If anyone has gone through a similar recovery process, I'd really appreciate your advice! Should I continue with ice packs or switch to warm compresses? How can I make the recovery process more comfortable? Thank you all!

Oh, I'm also thinking of having the same procedure done soon and I'm worried about swelling and bruising just like you! Thank you for sharing your experience, it's really reassuring to know that it's normal for people to experience these symptoms at first 🙏
Hi, I recently had the same simple procedure in Seoul, and it's like a sore throat! My doctor told me not to do anything hot, and to be careful with saunas and hot weather, but I'm having a hard time getting over it, so you're not the only one 😅
I've just gone through a similar situation and I'm just as worried as you! I found that keeping my face elevated while lying down and avoiding colds frequently helped a lot, but I'm not very sure about the other details, so I'm waiting for advice from more experienced people here.
