Hi, I'm Loan. I just had a minor procedure done in Seoul two days ago. Is there anyone in the expat community here who can help me? My face is quite swollen and bruised right now, and I'm a bit worried because I don't know how to take care of it afterward 😅
I know everyone is different, but I'd love to hear from those who've been through this: how long did the swelling last? What did you apply, eat, or any other useful tips? Currently, I'm just applying cold compresses several times a day and drinking plenty of water, but I'm not sure if there's anything else I can do.
Does anyone have experience with these kinds of situations? I'm scared of having to fly back home while still looking like this 😭 Thank you in advance!

I've just been through something similar, so I totally get how you feel! 😅 That fear of having to fly back with a swollen face is all too familiar, but luckily, it seems to be improving faster than expected. You're already doing what you need to (water + cold compress), just be patient and avoid anything hot/spicy for a few more days!
Take it easy. I understand your concerns; I've been in the same situation. Swelling is completely normal. I tried using ice packs, crushed ice, and tried to keep my head elevated. Now, after 1-2 weeks, it's much better. My friend told me that after the filler injection, try to avoid designs and impressions that cause swelling. I hope you recover quickly! ✨
I've had a similar experience! Cold compresses are really important, but I later found that sleeping with my head elevated also helps quite a bit. It seems to reduce swelling a little the next morning. Also, you need to have patience; everyone's recovery speed is truly different. Keep going! 💪
