Hi, this is Rin. I recently had a minor cosmetic procedure in Seoul, but the swelling and bruising were more severe than I expected...😅 I'm currently staying at home, and I'd like to know what kind of care you all do in situations like this?
I'm particularly curious about the timing of cooling, how long I should continue cooling, and how much movement I can do in my daily life. I know that recovery varies from person to person, both in Korea and Japan, so I'd love to hear about your actual experiences. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how long it took for the bruising to subside and any tips you used.
The procedure was on my face, so I'm hesitant to go out... But I have work, so I can't completely stay indoors. Has anyone had a similar experience? Could you please give me some advice?

I totally relate to how you feel, Lin! I also just had a minor procedure in Seoul, and the swelling was worse than I expected, so I totally understand your concerns about the timing of the compression and when things will return to normal. Hopefully, someone can share their real-life experience so we can both get a clearer picture, especially regarding how long it will take before I can leave the office without overthinking it, hehe.
Hey Rin! I feel you on the swelling — that sounds rough. Did you find that wearing sunglasses and a mask helped you feel more comfortable going out for work, or did you just take a few days completely off?
