Hello everyone! I'm Wulan from Indonesia, and I'm planning to have an aesthetic consultation in Korea next year. But I'm honestly a bit nervous about finding a reliable clinic, especially considering the language barrier.
Has anyone had experience finding a clinic there? I'm curious: how do people determine a safe and trustworthy place? Do I have to specifically look for one with an Indonesian interpreter, or is English enough? I'm afraid of miscommunication during the consultation or procedure...
Also, during the consultation itself, do they typically give me enough time to ask questions? Or are there any other tips I should know before choosing a clinic? I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share their experience! 🙏

I completely understand your concerns! I was worried about the language barrier too. I recommend trying to find places with English-speaking staff first, as they can usually explain things reasonably well. Also, try reading reviews from international travelers on various websites to see how good they are at communicating. Good luck!
I completely understand your concerns! The language barrier is indeed a challenge, but I think English is generally sufficient in medical institutions in big cities, at least for consultations. My advice is to prepare your questions in advance using translation software. This way, you won't miss anything, and it will also help the doctor understand your needs more clearly.
I'm planning something similar, so I understand your concerns! I think English might be sufficient for initial consultations, but finding a place that offers Indonesian language support would definitely make it more comfortable to discuss your needs in detail.
I understand, Uran! I was also worried about the language barrier at first, but when I actually went there, many hospitals were able to assist me in English. Also, if you send a few questions by email beforehand, the staff will answer them carefully, which I think will reduce your anxiety once you're there. 🙂
