Hi! I just had a small procedure done in Korea yesterday, and now my face is swollen with some bruising. Nothing serious, but I'd like to take good care of it. Has anyone here done this before? Are there any recovery methods that actually work?
From what I've researched, I've seen people mention using ice packs, sleeping with your head elevated, and trying to avoid hot weather. But I'm not sure which activities I should avoid, and how many days it takes to get back to normal. I'd love to hear from anyone with experience on this.
Right now I'm trying to drink lots of water and get plenty of rest. I'm not sure how long I need to keep this up though. Can you guys share your tips and tricks for dealing with swelling and bruising after procedures like this? Thanks in advance! 💕

I totally get how you're feeling! I've done similar minor procedures before, and I also had some swelling and slight marks a few days after—it's definitely worrying. From my experience, drinking plenty of water, getting good rest, and trying to sleep with your head elevated really do help. That said, everyone's recovery timeline is different. For me, the swelling went down pretty much completely in about a week, but you should definitely ask your medical team about what specific precautions to take and for how long 😊 You've got this—you'll be back to normal soon!
