Hi, my name is Muk. I just got back from Korea last week. I had a consultation at a clinic for a minor correction. It was a relatively simple procedure, but now my face is swollen, there are some minor incision marks, and there are some cuts all over (which is normal, but I'm wondering if it will heal quickly).
Has anyone gone through something similar? How did you take care of yourself? Did you stay home and sleep, or could you still go out normally? I'm traveling back to the city and will be meeting a lot of people for work, so I want to know how I can help myself heal faster and what factors depend on it.
Has anyone tried any self-care methods that they found truly helpful? I'd love to hear from someone who has actually experienced this, because the clinic only gave general advice. I want real tips! Thank you in advance!

I also had swelling for several days after my procedure last year. My experience is that ice packs really help for the first three days, and also, sleeping with your head elevated on pillows helps the swelling go down faster! As for work, I didn't start meeting clients until the fourth day. You might consider taking a few days off to let your face rest properly. Good luck!
