Hello, my name is Tookta. I had a small procedure on my face yesterday in Korea, and now I have some swelling and bruising 😅, which I think is normal and expected. But I'd love to get some tips from those of you who have gone through this before on how to take care of myself to heal faster.
Right now, I'm trying to apply cold ice packs to my face and trying to sleep with my head elevated tonight because I've noticed the swelling looks less in the morning. That's good! As for makeup or skincare products, I'm unsure what I should use and what to avoid. I'd be grateful to hear your recommendations.
Can anyone share their experience on how many days it usually takes to return to normal after this kind of procedure? And what care methods truly help the swelling go down faster? Thank you so much in advance! 🙏💕

Hey! That's so smart that you're already doing ice and elevating your head at night — I've heard those really do help. Quick question: are you able to avoid makeup and heavy products for now, or did your aftercare instructions say anything specific about what's okay to use? I'm curious because I'm thinking about getting something done soon and want to know what to expect!
