Hi everyone! I'm Yating, and I recently had a short procedure in Seoul and am currently in the recovery phase. While my doctor gave me some basic care advice, I'd like to hear other people's real experiences, especially regarding swelling and bruising.
I currently have some swelling and mild bruising, which was expected, but I'd still like to know if there are any daily habits or tips that can help. Has anyone tried cold or warm compresses? Or are there any dietary or lifestyle adjustments? I'm not sure when to use cold and when to use hot compresses, as the information online seems conflicting.
If anyone has gone through a similar recovery process, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Especially those with experience in Taiwan and those who have had the procedure in Korea, your advice would be most valuable. Thank you everyone 😊

Hi Yating! I just finished treatment and experienced the same thing—swelling and bruising that made me nervous 😅 My doctor also gave me basic instructions, but I'm also curious about other people's experiences who have been through this, so thanks so much for asking! I hope you recover quickly, and I'm excited to hear more tips from others.
I recently had a small procedure done and am currently in recovery, so I understand how you feel! I asked my doctor the same question, and she said the timing of cold and hot compresses is crucial, but honestly, everyone's recovery progress seems to be different 😅 If your doctor has specific instructions, that's probably the most accurate, but hearing how others care for their skin is definitely helpful. Looking forward to everyone's sharing!
After my last treatment in Seoul, I was also bothered by swelling and bruising for a long time. Later, I found that getting enough sleep and avoiding salty foods really helped; the swelling subsided significantly faster! I was also a little confused about the timing of hot and cold compresses at first. I suggest you just follow your doctor's instructions, because everyone's situation is different. Good luck!
