Hi, this is Sayaka. I recently had a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea, but I ended up with more swelling and bruising than I expected... What kind of aftercare do you all do when you return to Japan?
I know that applying cold compresses immediately after the procedure is important, but I'm not sure how long I should keep them cold, or if I should apply warmth afterward. Also, when is it okay to wear makeup? Should I avoid it until the swelling goes down?
If anyone has had a similar experience, could you please tell me how you recovered and what kind of care was effective? I know there are individual differences, but any helpful stories would be greatly appreciated.

Sayaka, I hope you're doing well! I've had a similar experience, so I completely understand how you feel 😭 Swelling and bruising are really unexpected, aren't they? In my case, I focused on applying ice for the first few days, and then gradually added warmth while monitoring the situation, but it seems like there's a huge difference from person to person. I think it's best to avoid makeup until the swelling subsides. Let's both take it easy and wait for our recovery!
