Hello everyone! I'm Indah from Indonesia, and I'm planning an aesthetic treatment consultation during my vacation in Seoul next month. But honestly, I'm a bit confused about how to trust clinic reviews when most of them are written in Korean, and I only understand a little bit.
Does anyone have any tips on how to choose a safe and trustworthy clinic as a foreigner? I've heard that some people use Google Translate to read reviews, but I'm worried that something might get lost in the translation. Also, what are the red flags I should look out for? For example, what's the difference between a legitimate review and one that might be fake or biased?
If anyone has been to Korea for treatment, how did you choose a place? Is it better to book through an international platform or contact the clinic directly? I'm also worried about miscommunication due to language. Appreciate any advice! 🙏

I'm from Indonesia too and totally understand the worry! By the way, have you tried asking the clinic directly via WhatsApp or email? Many have international staff, so it might be easier to communicate than reading unclear reviews. 😊
I totally understand your concerns! I'm a foreigner too, and I was initially quite overwhelmed by the Korean reviews. My advice is to try Google Translate, and then look at the recurring words and overall impression in the reviews. Real reviews usually have more specific details. Also, try emailing the hospital directly or using translation software to communicate. Most hospitals are quite comfortable with international patients, so don't be too nervous 😊
