Hi, this is Honoka. I'm planning to have a procedure done in Korea next month, but honestly, I'm having trouble choosing a clinic. How important are Japanese language support and interpreter assistance? How do you all find trustworthy clinics?
What I'm particularly concerned about is whether I can communicate in my language during the consultation. I'm worried about not being able to properly convey my wishes, and I want to fully understand the doctor's explanations. Also, what should I check beforehand? I think judging solely on social media reviews is risky.
I'd appreciate it if you could share any points to be careful about as a foreigner, or any experiences you have. What kind of support did you receive?

I have similar plans to yours, so I completely understand your concerns about communication! I think finding a place that offers English support or translation services is really important because you need to clearly explain what you want to say. You're absolutely right.
I completely understand how you feel! I was also worried about communication at first, but actually many places in Korea offer English support or translation services, so you can ask carefully before scheduling a consultation. I think the best way is to check reviews from various sources, not just social media, and try to contact them directly to ask specific questions.
