Hi, this is Chika. I'm thinking of getting a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea, but I'll probably be traveling soon after. 😅
I have some questions about how long the swelling usually lasts after the procedure, and what kind of care I should do during that time. I'm especially interested in any aftercare products I should carry with me. Are there any cooling sheets or anything that can help reduce swelling? Ideally, I'd like care that I can do in my hotel room since I'll be traveling...
Also, are there any precautions I should take while in Korea or when flying? If anyone has had a similar experience, I'd really appreciate any advice. I know it varies depending on the type of procedure and my individual body type, but any general tips would be very helpful. 💭

I've had a similar experience before! My advice is to bring some cooling eye patches and thin compressed face masks. They work quite well after being chilled in the hotel room refrigerator 😊 Also, try to eat less salt and drink more water the day before your flight, as this will reduce swelling. However, you should follow your doctor's advice on specific care methods, as everyone's situation is different.
Hello Chika! I'm also considering a similar treatment, so reading your post was really helpful 😭 I heard that cold towels or cooling pads can be used in hotel rooms, which seems quite convenient, but I'd also like to know other people's experiences~ I wish you a smooth journey and treatment!
Chika, I've been in a similar situation, so I totally understand how you feel 😅 You should definitely bring cold sheets or ice packs; they're especially useful on the plane. Also, I've heard that simple care you can do in your hotel room is to sleep with your head elevated and to cool yourself down frequently. It seems many people also try to avoid salty and spicy foods while traveling.
Chika, I'm thinking the same thing! My friend said that if she had to fly immediately after the operation, she would have no choice but to rest in the hotel room, although cold compresses and simple massages would have helped a lot. 🥶 I highly recommend listening to your doctor's advice, but the general rule is that you should be able to do it at the hotel.
I was also about to travel abroad after completing my treatment, and the most helpful thing was bringing a small cooling pad or cold eye mask to use in the hotel. Drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep really made a huge difference! Remember not to drink too much alcohol on the plane, as it can worsen puffiness; I learned this the hard way, haha 😅
Hi Chika! I'm also considering a similar treatment, so I totally understand your question 😅 I've heard that ice packs and moisturizing masks are lifesavers when traveling—they're convenient and can be used in hotel rooms. However, I'm still researching to learn more details, and I hope everyone can share some practical experiences!
Chika, I understand because I have the same condition as you! I'm also going through the same thing - I'm thinking of spending it before a ceremony or a trip 😅 I've heard about stepping on a hot grave and drinking a lot of water - does it seem possible to conditionally cleanse an entire house?
Hi Shika! Quick question - are you more worried about the bloating itself or about it showing up in public while traveling? I'm curious to know if the cold compresses from the hotel are enough or if I need to get something from outside 🤔
