Hi everyone! I'm Tiara from Indonesia, and I'm planning a trip to Seoul next month for an aesthetic consultation. Honestly, I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is just okay, and I don't speak any Korean at all.
I've been browsing some places, and a few seem to have staff who can speak English, but I'm not sure about the specifics during the consultation itself. Can they explain complex things in English, or would it be better for me to bring a translator or my wife, who is more fluent?
Has anyone had consultation experiences in Seoul without knowing Korean? How did you communicate? Is it worth hiring an interpreter, or is it better to find a place that definitely has English speakers? I'm curious about the process and whether I'll miss out on important information due to the language barrier.
Thanks so much to anyone who shares their experience! 🙏

I'm also considering this! I've heard many places have English-speaking staff, but I'm also worried that complex details might not be explained clearly. Perhaps bringing my wife or asking someone with English support would be more reassuring, rather than relying solely on basic English.
