Hi, my name is Ayaka. I'm seriously considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul, but I'm wondering if it's really worth it to travel all the way from Japan...
I often hear that South Korea has advanced cosmetic surgery, and that it's supposedly cheaper than in Japan. However, there are additional costs like airfare and accommodation, right? Furthermore, I'm a little worried about the distance – if something goes wrong during the recovery process, I won't be able to see a doctor immediately... How do people who have actually had surgery abroad overcome these anxieties?
Also, choosing a clinic is incredibly difficult. It's hard to judge trustworthiness based solely on online information, and there's the language barrier. I'm worried about whether I'll be able to properly communicate my wishes and concerns during the consultation. I really want to consult with a trustworthy doctor in Japanese...
