How do you care for swelling and bruising after a minor procedure? I'd love to hear about everyone's experiences.

Hi everyone! I’m Peiyu, and I just got back to Taiwan from Seoul. I had a minor cosmetic procedure last week, and my face is a bit swollen and bruised right now. Although the doctor gave me some basic aftercare advice, I’d love to hear about everyone’s actual experiences and tips.

Right now, I’m just icing and trying to sleep with my head elevated, but it’s still a bit swollen. Has anyone here shared how they cared for their skin after a procedure? For example, what products did you use, were there any dietary restrictions, and how long did it take for the swelling to noticeably subside? I know everyone’s situation is different, but I’m just trying to understand the general recovery process.

Also, I wanted to ask about the bruising – is it really just a matter of time? Or are there any methods that can help fade it? I’m a little worried my plans for next week might look a bit strange, haha. If anyone has gone through this before, I’d really love to hear your advice! Thanks!
