Hi everyone, I'm Tinghui from Taiwan. I'm currently considering some cosmetic procedures in South Korea, but to be honest, I'm a little nervous. I have absolutely no idea how to find a truly reliable clinic, especially regarding the language barrier. Does anyone have experience with this?
My biggest concern is communication—if the doctor or consultant's English or Chinese isn't clear enough, should I bring my own translator? Or do most clinics offer translation services? Also, are there any specific things I should pay attention to or ask during the initial consultation? For example, their qualifications, the clinic's reputation, etc.?
Are there any ladies who can share how they chose a clinic? Or have any experiences with making mistakes? I'd love to hear about everyone's experiences and how they feel so I can be more confident. Thank you!

Hello! I'm also from abroad, so I understand your concerns. I'd like to ask if you considered contacting the hospital directly via email or WeChat beforehand to see how their English or Chinese services are? This way, you can get a feel for their professionalism beforehand.
I completely understand your concern, Ting Hui! 🙂 I'm also a foreigner and faced the same communication problem at first, but I discovered that most reputable clinics have English-speaking receptionists or provide translation services. Honestly, my best advice is to ask friends or foreign groups in Korea for personal recommendations, as this helps a lot in building trust! 💪
Hello Ting Hui! I'm also Taiwanese and currently considering treatments in Korea, so I really understand your concerns. In my experience, many clinics offer Chinese consultation services or arrange interpreters. You can inquire online in Korean or English before making an appointment to see if they provide Chinese support—this will give you a general idea of their services. Good luck, let's explore together!
