Hi everyone! So I'm thinking about getting some aesthetic work done while I'm in Korea, but I'm running into this issue where a lot of the best reviews seem to be on Korean platforms and... yeah, my Korean is definitely not good enough to read between the lines, you know? I can use Google Translate, but I feel like I'm missing context and tone.
I guess what I'm really asking is — how do you all vet places when you're a foreigner? Are there red flags I should watch for, even in translated reviews? Like, do certain things feel off to you, or are there questions you've learned to ask clinics directly? I'm also wondering if anyone relies more on before/afters or consultations than reviews, since those are easier to understand across the language barrier.
Also, have you had experiences where a place seemed sketchy in hindsight? I want to be smart about this and not just book somewhere because it has a nice website or pretty pictures. Any advice would be really helpful!
