Hi, my name is Kaede. I'm planning to go to Seoul from Japan for a consultation about cosmetic treatments, but I'm a little worried about the language barrier. I can manage basic conversational English, but I'm not confident with medical terminology or subtle nuances. For those who have actually had consultations at clinics in Seoul, was it okay to just use English? Or should I look for a clinic with staff who can speak Japanese?
I especially want to fully understand the details of the procedures and the explanations of the risks. I'm wondering if I should bring a translation app, but what do you think? I'd love to hear from anyone from Japan who has had success with language barriers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
