Hi, this is Mio! I recently had a minor procedure in Seoul, but I'm experiencing more swelling and bruising than I expected...😅 I'm currently monitoring it at home, but I'd like to know how everyone else handles this kind of situation?
I understand that applying ice immediately after the procedure is important, but I'm unsure about the subsequent care routine. I'd appreciate any advice on things to be careful about or things to avoid while the bruising subsides. I have work-related meetings scheduled, so I really want it to heal as quickly as possible...
I hear that minor procedures in Korea are popular in Japan too, so I'd love to hear from people who have actually had them. For example, when was the swelling at its peak? And what precautions did you take in your daily life? I'm feeling quite anxious, so hearing from someone who's had a similar experience would be very reassuring 💪

Mio, I've been through this too and it was really uncomfortable! I found that keeping my head elevated while sleeping and drinking plenty of water in the first few days helped a lot with the swelling. Also, try to avoid spicy and salty foods, as I found they made the swelling worse. Wishing you a speedy recovery! 💪
