Hi, this is Tomomi. I've been struggling with something for a while, and I wanted to post this to get everyone's opinions. I want to get a cosmetic procedure, but I'm really torn between doing it in Japan or going to Korea.
I feel like Korea might have more advanced techniques and experience, and I'd like to hear from people who have actually been there. But if I do it in Japan, it's easier to commute, and I can easily get advice if something goes wrong. Also, considering the practicalities like travel expenses and time... I don't know what to do.
For those who have had procedures done in Korea or Japan, do you have any regrets, and what was the deciding factor for you? Honestly, even after listening to consultations, I still can't see what's most important to me. Any personal experiences would be a huge help.

I totally get this dilemma, Tomomi! I've been wrestling with the same question honestly. Part of me is drawn to Korea because you hear so much about the experience and technique there, but then I think about the practical stuff like follow-up appointments and just having someone nearby if I need to ask questions... that's a real consideration. I'd love to hear from people who've done it in both places too, just to get a sense of what the actual experience was like for them rather than just the hype. Such a tough call!
I tried both paths and honestly the real difference is not in technology as much as it is in psychological comfort. I went to Korea twice but each time I was worried about the language and the follow-up afterwards, while in my country I can consult the doctor at any time if I have any slight concern. Think about what you need more - is it comfort and easy follow-up, or are you preparing for a new experience and a little adventure?
