Lately, I've been really struggling with uncontrollable drowsiness, nodding off constantly.
Even though I definitely went to bed early the night before, my eyelids feel heavy as soon as I finish lunch.
It happens again when I take the subway, so much so that I've ended up going two stops past my destination.
People around me and even I myself started wondering if I should get tested for narcolepsy, so I got a recommendation for a good clinic and went.
They asked me everything, like how many hours I sleep on weekdays, if I try to catch up on sleep on weekends, and if I feel my body stiffen when I fall asleep.
First, they suggested we figure out how much my sleep rhythm is off.
Lately, I've been trying to break the habit of falling asleep on the sofa after work, but it's still not easy.

Does sleepiness really come on at random times?
Sometimes it feels like I wake up and only then realize I've passed out.
I think I have some symptoms too, where should I go to the clinic?
If you have any doubts, it's always best to at least find out the cause!! It's Smart Neurology in Gangnam Station~
Wow, your train sleeping experience is so relatable! I often do that too, especially after lunch. Btw, during the initial consultation, did the doctor ask when you usually feel most drowsy? I'm curious if they immediately recommended a sleep study or if there was an observation phase first?
