Hi everyone, I'm Fangfang. I'm currently considering getting a cosmetic procedure done in South Korea, but as a foreigner, I really don't know how to tell which clinics are reliable. I'm worried about language barriers—if the doctor's explanations are unclear or the translator's translation is inaccurate during the consultation, it feels very risky.
How do you all find clinics? What do you check before the consultation? For example, do they have a translator? Can the doctor communicate in English or other languages? What are the clinic's qualifications? I really have no clue.
Also, are there any special things to pay attention to during the consultation? How can I tell if a clinic is genuinely caring about foreign patients and not just trying to make a quick buck? Has anyone shared their experience? I would be extremely grateful!

Hi Fang! That's a great question. Regarding translators, have you ever met someone who used their own personal translator instead of the hospital's translator? I'm a bit curious to see if it was a better experience or not 😊
