Hi everyone! I'm Wei. I had a very minor cosmetic procedure done in Seoul two days ago, and my face is a bit swollen now, which has me a little worried. Although the doctor said it's normal, I'd love to hear from experienced sisters on how you managed this process.
Right now, I'm mainly applying ice packs, drinking plenty of water, and trying to sleep with my head elevated. Honestly, though, I'm not entirely sure if these are the most effective methods. Has anyone here shared what they did during their recovery? For example, are there any specific things to pay attention to regarding diet, skincare, or daily activities?
Another question – how long does this kind of swelling typically take to subside? I know everyone is different, but having a general timeline would put my mind at ease. If you have any little tips that you've personally found effective, I'd really love to hear them! Thanks, everyone~

Hi Wei! I'm also considering a similar treatment, and seeing your sharing has been really helpful 😊 The methods of cold compresses and sleeping with your head elevated sound quite practical. I hope your swelling goes down soon!
Oh, I totally understand your concern! When I first did that, I was swollen too. The person who told me that sleeping with your head elevated + drinking plenty of water + cold compresses really helps, and most importantly, don't pick at it because it's normal 😊
I had a small procedure done a few days ago myself, and my face is still a bit swollen, haha 😅 Right now, I'm doing cold compresses and sleeping with my head elevated. I've heard that drinking plenty of water and eating a light diet can also help, but honestly, I'm not too sure which one has the most noticeable effect. I'd love to hear about others' experiences, especially how long it took for their swelling to go down!
I'm also thinking of doing something similar soon, so thank you for sharing your experience! 😊 What you're doing now seems to be very right, and many people say that patience is key because swelling usually subsides with time.
