Hi, this is Haruka. I've been thinking about double eyelid surgery for a while, and recently I've started considering going to Seoul. I know I can get it done in Japan, but I've heard that Korea has more options and more advanced technology. However, traveling abroad is expensive and time-consuming, and I'm worried about aftercare...
What's the actual value of getting it done overseas? I wonder if the total cost, including travel and accommodation, would be significantly different from getting it done in Japan. Also, I'm concerned about the language barrier and how they'd handle any problems that might arise.
Has anyone had surgery in Seoul? What was your experience like? I'd love to hear about the consultation process, how you chose a clinic, and any other helpful information. I'd also appreciate it if you could tell me what your deciding factors were for traveling abroad.

I was also very worried about the language barrier! But when I actually went, there were staff who could speak Japanese during the counseling session, and translation apps were more useful than I expected, so it was easier than I thought. However, I also think that the total cost might not be that different from Japan.
I went to Seoul earlier this year and was hesitant at first, but I finally went for it. The reason is that the total cost (flight, accommodation, services) was cheaper than in Japan. The language issue was really a concern, but there was a translation service and a human consultant, so it didn't bother me, and now it's great! If you want to get good results from your video production, I think the price is reasonable.
Hey! I'm actually wondering the same thing about whether it's worth traveling for this. How long are you thinking of staying in Seoul if you do decide to go? Like, would you need to take time off work for recovery, or are you flexible with your schedule?
I'm also considering this! I'd like to ask you, since you mentioned concerns about language communication, have you considered finding a place where English or Japanese are spoken? Or have you ultimately decided to use translation software or have someone accompany you?
