Hello, I'm Maki. I'm thinking about getting cosmetic procedures in Korea, but honestly, my Korean isn't that great... 😅 I want to check reviews when choosing a clinic, but I'm worried if relying solely on translations is risky.
As foreigners, how do you all gather clinic information reliably? I'd especially like to know if there are any red flags you notice when reading reviews that make you think, "Hmm, this seems suspicious." For example, reviews that are too perfect? Or reviews with the same content over and over?
Also, I'm unsure about what questions to ask during consultations. Given the language barrier, would it be better to have an interpreter, or is it okay if the clinic can handle communication properly? If anyone has experience with this, please give me some advice!

I'm planning something similar and feeling just as worried as you are! I think the safest approach is to ask directly to foreign friends who have tried it here. Then, during consultations, make sure to have someone translate for you to ensure you understand everything clearly—don't hesitate to ask questions repeatedly, because it's your right 😊
