Hi everyone, I'm Hui from China. I've been seriously considering getting a minor cosmetic procedure in Seoul recently, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is okay, but medical terms might be a bit challenging, and Korean is out of the question. I wanted to ask if any sisters have been to Korea for consultations? Do hospitals usually have translators or English-speaking doctors? Or should I prepare some materials or a list of questions in advance?
I've read some posts and it seems like many people mention communication is important, but I'm not entirely sure about the actual situation. Can anyone share their experiences? Can you request a translator when booking, or do you only find out on-site? I'm a bit nervous about misunderstanding something.
It would be even better if any fellow Chinese speakers are here – could you offer some advice? Thank you all!
