Hello there! My name is Tuya, and I'm from Ulaanbaatar. I'm planning to visit Seoul at the end of this year to explore the sights and also get some aesthetic treatments. However, I have a question: how much of an issue is language during consultations?
While Mongolian is my native language, I'll be in a new country, and English is probably the only language I can rely on. I've heard that clinics in Seoul have translators or English-speaking staff, but I'm not entirely sure. If anyone has been there before, how did your consultations go? Was English sufficient, or did you need to find other arrangements?
If you have any experience with this topic, I'd love to hear about it! Thank you!

I also went to Seoul for consultations last year with only English, and actually, most consultants at beauty hospitals can communicate in English, so you don't need to worry too much! My advice is to use a translation app beforehand to write down your thoughts. This way, you can be clearer during the consultation, and the doctor can understand your needs more accurately.
Toya! It was the same for me on my first trip to Seoul. I also felt nervous when talking to people there. But based on my experience, they have quite a few people who can speak English reasonably well, and many places have translation apps or can use visuals to help communicate! I recommend preparing some basic English phrases + bringing screenshots of what you want to do. That way, communication will be much easier. You'll definitely succeed, Toya! Fighting! 🫶
