Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip to Korea next year and I'm seriously considering getting some aesthetic work done while I'm there. But honestly, I'm kind of nervous about how to find a place I can actually trust, especially since I don't speak Korean at all.
I've been scrolling through forums and I see SO many clinics out there, but I have no idea how to tell the good ones from the sketchy ones. Like, do you guys usually go through an intermediary or translator? Or does the clinic have someone who speaks English? I'm worried about getting lost in translation during the consultation and not understanding what's actually being recommended for me.
Also, what kind of questions should I be asking during a consultation to feel confident about a place? Has anyone here gone through this process as a foreigner? I'd love to hear what worked for you and what red flags you noticed. Any tips on vetting a clinic before you commit would be amazing!

I completely understand your concerns! I used to be very nervous about the language barrier too, but I found that many places actually offer English consultation services. Alternatively, you can communicate in advance via email using translation software, which can significantly reduce misunderstandings. I recommend looking for real user experiences and asking if there's Chinese customer service or translation support available. This will give you much more peace of mind.
I previously found it very helpful to search for clinics that offer English-speaking services on an additional website, so you can just search for "English available" or "international patients" on the site! If you're unsure about anything, I think it's very important to read the purchase plan and reviews from other women on the site before booking an appointment with the department.
