Hello, I'm Yuuka. I've recently become interested in cosmetic procedures in Korea and have started researching them, but honestly, I'm not sure how to find a trustworthy clinic 😅
For all you foreigners out there, how do you actually find clinics? Do you rely a lot on reviews from social media, etc.? Or perhaps recommendations from acquaintances? Another thing I'm curious about is language support during consultations. Are places that offer English or Japanese support limited?
What do you think are the pros and cons of clinics where you can consult directly with the doctor without an interpreter versus clinics that have an interpreter present? If there's anything I should confirm during the initial consultation, please let me know. Is there anyone with experience who can share?

Hello! Based on my experience, many people get good impressions from Instagram and TikTok when they start, but direct engagement is important 😅 What helped me was asking for a video consultation first — that way, you can understand if there will be a translator or how to communicate. And yes, finding a doctor who speaks English can be challenging, so you should ask your previous doctor!
